DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - Police have charged a Danville man in connection to a fatal shooting that happened earlier this month.
On Wednesday, a grand jury issued indictments against 21-year-old Sean James Ballard for first-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and discharging a firearm in a public place.

These charges are in relation to the shooting of Jomalcom Ali Daniels on April 11. Daniels died two days later.
Ballard is being held without bond.
