DANVILLE (WSLS 10) The man found shot Monday afternoon on North Union St. has died.
After receiving initial treatment at Danville Regional Medical Center, the patient was transferred to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for further treatment. He was pronounced dead by medical staff today.

He has been identified as Jomalcom Ali Daniels, age 24, of Danville. His body will be transported to the Medical Examiner's Office in Roanoke for an autopsy. The investigation is continuing.
