ROANOKE, Va. – We are tracking some big changes as we head into the next couple of days. As for now, it’s mild and muggy!
Tuesday’s high temperatures will be in the mid-50s to the mid-60s, an unseasonably warm day to say the least.
Later Tuesday night, the overall setup will change a bit. Moisture and warm air will continue to move into the region, but rain is headed this way!
Isolated to scattered showers will move in early Wednesday morning thanks to a front entering the region from the south and west.
The overall setup remains in place for much of Wednesday as the upper-level system track is close by.
By the mid-late afternoon, the leading edge of the cold front will come barreling across the Mid-Atlantic.
We can expect isolated to scattered showers pushing through Wednesday night and wrapping up by Thursday morning.
