WATCH: When is our greatest chance for severe storms? | Appcast - May 8, 2024

Although it’s been a relatively calm start to the week thus far, you might want to keep the umbrella and raincoat handy as we inch closer to the weekend.

A Weather Authority Alert Day has been issued for Wednesday night and Thursday morning due to the potential for strong to severe thunderstorms. Meteorologist Chris Michaels times out when those storms could move through our region and shares the best day to get mom outside this Mother’s Day Weekend.

And as always, we’d love to see what the weather conditions are like in your area. If it is safe to do, be sure to snap a pic and then send it to us through Pin It for a chance to be a part of our forecast.
