ROANOKE, Va. – Can you feel it? There’s a big change in the air starting Tuesday, as a drier weather pattern sets up shop.
A breeze out of the west and northwest will continue to pump in drier air, setting the stage for sunshine, warm afternoons and cooler mornings.
Highs Tuesday and Wednesday will reach the 70s and lower 80s - right at about average for mid-September.
Morning lows will be in the 50s through at least Sunday!
Humidity levels may come up just a tick Friday and this weekend, but your plans are looking a-okay!
It’ll feel great Friday evening for week 4 of high school football.
Late this weekend into next week, high pressure above camps out over the Eastern U.S.
This is going to lead to warmer air in the final days of summer. This will also continue our dry stretch into much of next week.
