US-220 in Botetourt County open after logging truck overturns

BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. – UPDATE

US-220 is now open after a logging truck overturned and closed the road in both directions Monday morning.

US-220 is closed in both directions in Botetourt County due to a crash, according to VDOT. 

Authorities say the closure is near Patterson Trail and Rt. 683. 

Virginia State Police say the call came around 9 a.m.
