The citys registrars office is asking voters to wear a mask if they have one, though a mask is not required to vote. Election officers will limit the number of voters in each precinct to ensure voters are able to stay six feet apart and there will be markings on the floor to indicate six foot intervals. Sneeze guards will be put up between election officers and voters checking in to vote. It has been the most difficult, Danville Registrar Peggy Petty said when asked what preparing for election day has been like.

Fair Fight Action is mobilizing hundreds of volunteers coming out of Wednesday’s Democratic presidential debate in Atlanta to make calls to potentially affected voters. Fair Fight Action is suing the secretary of state, arguing in part that a “use it or lose it” stance is unconstitutional. Planned Parenthood, the Georgia NAACP and NARAL Pro-Choice Georgia are also expected to participate, and virtual phone bankers are welcome for those looking to help outside Atlanta. Georgia voters are expected to receive a notice in the mail notifying them that they have 30 days to respond before being purged.
