Gru and the minions are celebrating a second week in first place at the North American box office.

Lee Sun-kyun, a popular South Korean actor best known for his role in the Oscar-winning movie “Parasite,” has been found dead in a car in Seoul after weeks of an intense police investigation into his alleged drug use.

South Koreans shared congratulations on social media for the multiple wins by “Squid Game” at the Emmy Awards, but the overall reaction was subdued as the country grows accustomed to its increasingly prominent role in global entertainment.
