Twice a year, the Eggleston Volunteer Fire Department hosts a mud bog. Over the years, its grown attracting hundreds of people who come to watch the mud madness. Each year hundreds of people pay to come watch these local drivers tear it up...on the 200-foot-long mud pit these volunteer firefighters typically make. This gives them a chance to get out and play with those mud trucks legally in a safe and controlled environment, Stephens said. Registration will be open from 10am-1pm Saturday at the Eggleston Volunteer Fire Department.
