Burtonโs back-to-back wins prevented Noah Gragson and Ross Chastain from advancing to next weekโs Xfinity Series championship race at Phoenix. The Xfinity Series is crowning its first new champion in three years; Tyler Reddick was promoted to Cup after winning the last two crowns. It put Gragson in a must-win situation Saturday at Martinsville, where the Xfinity Series raced for the first time since 2006. Heโs a two-time Xfinity Series winner at Phoenix, which he believes puts him at an advantage.

NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Jeb Burton will be sporting something new on the track today: a Godโs Pit Crew logo. The organizationโs founder and director, Randy Johnson, tells 10 News that heโs excited to โride-alongโ with him. โSo itโs just been great to see Jeb use his gifts and talents to make a difference as well as to drive the wheels off that race car,โ said Johnson. The race starts at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Martinsville Speedway and you can catch it on WSLS 10.

It started Sunday with the NASCAR Cup Series' return to racing and will continue when those racers are back on the track for a rare midweek event Wednesday night. We saw some guys in the Cup race who were pretty tame at the start and other guys who were pretty aggressive. Cup drivers are scheduled to run again at Darlington on Wednesday night, although forecasts have called for additional rain. Thursday's Xfinity race will be the first in the series since March 7 at Phoenix.
