For starters, Wendy's worked closely with franchises this time around and created a menu that doesn't require new equipment. If all goes well, Wendy's forecast breakfast sales to encompass 10% of its daily sales. Analysts have been skeptical of Wendy's breakfast ambitions because of the costs.

The company said Monday that its taking breakfast nationwide next year with a new menu inspired by its afternoon menu and, obviously, includes a Frosty made for breakfast. Wendy's released a portion of its new breakfast menu. The new offerings announced this week include some of the same items Wendy's currently offers in the 300 stores that sell breakfast. Expanding breakfast to nearly 6,000 stores nationwide will initially cost Wendy's about $20 million. Several of Wendy's competitors have revamped their breakfast menus within the past year to some success.

Patrick Benson, 34, was arrested Saturday and charged with burglary, grand theft and attempted burglary, according to a news release from the Martin County Sheriff's Office. Security footage at the Jensen Beach restaurant appears to catch Benson in the act and also reveals a strange part of his process. "The suspect has been successful at forcing his way into two restaurants cooking himself some dinner -- then stealing what he can't consume," the sheriff's office said Friday. Images from security footage brought in many tips on the identity of the man dubbed the Hamburglar, the office said.
