A Nor’Easter has brought many blizzard warnings and heavy snowfall to New England and much of the Northeast. Here locally, we are seeing the effects of the moisture wrapping around the center of low pressure here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Though there has been a lot of chatter about the coastal storm bringing many loads of snow, our neck of the woods will be seeing little to no impact.

As we see drier conditions today with the exception of a few isolated showers, we will see more showers come into the region overnight; some higher elevations seeing some snow flurries.

We are starting off with heavy rain this morning, now moving across our viewing area. This will bring some visibility issues to an already foggy area. The good news is that once this line of heavy showers passes through, it will help clear the fog out, and we will see rapid clearing and gusty conditions to follow behind this front.

Today we will see pretty gloomy weather all day today. Rain showers are in the mix off and on through the early afternoon, with significant cloudcover all day today.
