ROANOKE, Va – Republican Congressman Bob Good is looking to build trust among the people of the 5th district. Good says since he was officially sworn in a few weeks ago, his top priority in Washington has been improving the economy following the coronavirus pandemic. Good also hopes to see some of Former President Donald Trump’s immigration plans continue. He was one of several congressmen who recently took a trip to view conditions at the border wall in southern Arizona. AdHe hopes to see the border wall completed in the near future.

ROANOKE, Va – It’s considered one of the closest congressional races in the country, but experts with the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics says the ads for Virginia’s 5th congressional district could not be more different. Coleman says when it comes to republican Bob Good’s ad’s he takes a more traditional route. As for Democrat Cameron Webb, Coleman says he takes more of a moderate approach to appeal to voters who may traditionally vote Republican. Coleman says a majority of political ads come from organizations not related to the candidates. The Center for Politics has the 5th district race as a toss-up.
