Terrill, File)The U.S. Olympic swimming trials will be split into two meets, a striking change designed to provide safer conditions on the pool deck in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. As of last week, 1,305 athletes had qualified for the Olympic trials since the window opened Nov. 28, 2018. USA Swimming reviewed the last five Olympic trials going back to 2000 to determine the the lowest-seeded swimmers to qualify for an event final.

Messages seeking comment left with Keller and his sister, former Olympic swimmer Kalyn Keller, were not immediately returned. Keller’s alleged participation in the Capitol protest was first reported this week by SwimSwam, a site dedicated to covering competitive swimming and other aquatic sports. The FBI affidavit specifically cited screenshots that shows the person identified as Keller wearing a U.S. Olympic team jacket.

The $2 million will be earmarked to help about 1,800 workers who are employed at Magic games, Lakeland Magic G League games, Orlando Solar Bears minor-league hockey games and other Amway Center events. The Arizona Coyotes will pay all part-time arena and team employees through the end of the previously scheduled NHL season. The next scheduled games between teams which have not withdrawn are Wednesday.
