Knights hope that a big boost in off-season workouts will pay off.

Week three of 1st and 10, and we’ve got a resurgence of a couple proud, proud programs in Buchanan and Buena Vista.

We’re now in week three and we still have a number of teams that are undefeated. That includes our Game of the Week matchup between Parry McCluer and James River.

BUCHANAN, Va.- - James River head coach Tim Jennings is an example of never giving up. The former Knights assistant applied for the head coach vacancy in 2015, but ultimately the position was given to Jake Phillips. Jennings said that, in order to get over a few humps, you have to start with the little things. Every football coach, every basketball coach, every baseball coach talks about doing the little things. At practice on Wednesday, it was clear the Knights had bought into the family style culture.
