In honor of Hunger Action Month this September, local Kroger stores are once again leading the charge to support those in need with their annual Peanut Butter Drive.

It’s a crime that goes unnoticed a lot of the time, but it’s costing the victims billions of dollars a year. Shoplifting is a serious problem in America, and retail stores are losing lots and lots of money each year because of it.

Starting Monday, Jan. 24, all Virginia ABC stores won’t open their doors until noon as ABC’s retail employees continue to be impacted by COVID-19.

Looks like several big retailers across the country will be closed on Turkey Day. Many stores, including Walmart and Target, have announced they will close their doors on Thanksgiving this year. The company said in a press release that they plan on extending holiday sale prices for several weeks afterward.
