The LPD has arrested and charged a 35-year-old after multi-agency child pornography investigation.

A Goodview man was arrested on Monday after an investigation by Bedford County Sheriff’s Office investigators assigned to the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Bedford County Sheriff’s Office investigators assigned to the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested a Lynchburg man Wednesday on child pornography charges.

More than 1,400 pinwheels have been placed outside four locations, led by the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Each one represents a victim from last year.

As people move more of their lives online, predators are doing the same.
