North Cross will re-tool with plenty of talent and long-time defensive coordinator Shannon Taylor at the helm.

An 18-year-old was indicted after a crash in Henrico that resulted in the death of a Henrico police officer, WWBT reports.

St. Clair, who went to the St. Louis Rams with pick number 94, played at William Fleming High School and was teammates with Taylor at Virginia.

Harry H. Rogers was arrested and charged with assault and battery, attempted malicious wounding and felony vandalism, Henrico County Commonwealth's Attorney Shannon Taylor said in a statement. We are investigating whether hate crimes charges are appropriate," Taylor said in the statement. Taylor's statement said Rogers was driving recklessly in the vicinity of the protest, drove up to the protesters, revved the engine and drove into the group. An avowed white supremacist drove his car into a crowd of peaceful anti-racism demonstrators, killing one woman and injuring dozens more.

ROANOKE, Va. - For North Cross senior Zae Baines, basketball was his first love, until he met assistant coach Shannon Taylor. "I never wanted to play football in high school but it kind of happened once I got here," said Baines. He's now an assistant at North Cross and has known Baines since he was 9 years old. "I was just thinking, yeah, he been in the NFL but OK I'm trying to play basketball so it was kind of like that. "He quickly found out and the whole area found out he was a big time basketball player in addition to being a good football player," said North Cross head coach Stephen Alexander.
