Christyen Sumpter, 27, of Sarasota, Florida, pleaded guilty Thursday in U.S. District Court in Abingdon to a slew of federal charges. Two others, Perla Pineda-Osorio and Michael Wilson, both pleaded guilty to the same charges as Sumpter earlier this month. Soon after, law enforcement spotted the stolen car and a high-speed chase began. The guns were recovered and although they looked like real guns, authorities say they were BB guns.

One of the oldest players to have pitched in the major-leagues, last pitching just 16 days short of his 50th birthday, he retired in 1972 with the lowest career earned run average of any major-league hurler after 1927 who pitched more than 2,000 innings.
