They are also designating five doctoral fellowships for students who are descendants of slaves or underrepresented groups. Princeton Seminary acknowledges it had ties to slaverywhile they say they never owned slaves, nor was the campus built with slave labor, they did say they benefitted from the slave economy. According to NJ.com, Georgetown University students voted to raise their own tuition so 272 descendants of slaves could be paid reparations. Both Rutgers and Princeton University have acknowledged their past ties to slavery but have not issued any reparations.

That's exactly what Rutgers center Mike Maietti did on Saturday, when the Scarlet Knights scored against the Boston College Eagles. After Rutgers quarterback Art Sitkowski connected with wide open running back Raheem Blackshear on a 74-yard pass, Maietti ran to Sitkowski, picked him up, and punched him straight in the face. Sitkowski's head whipped back and the two carried on celebrating like nothing strange happened. Sadly, Rutgers couldn't punch its way to a victory.
