Michael Brown was on the run for 18 days, after being accused of shooting Rodney Brown in front of his mothers home. The search stretched from Franklin County to Clarendon County, S. C. to Roanoke, before Browns arrest at the home in Franklin County.

The search warrant also revealed the day before the RV was found, investigators talked to an โassociateโ who confirmed he had been with Michael Brown, but Brown left in an RV. Surveillance video from an area close to the associateโs location showed an RV pulling into a campground, pulling an enclosed trailer. Inside was a black Lincoln Town Car investigators believe Brown was using to get around.

Fifty seven search warrants, sealed since Nov. 12, were unsealed in Franklin County Circuit Court Wednesday. The majority of the unsealed search warrants are for Michaelโs social media, phone, cable and e-mail accounts. A possible motive remained unclear Wednesday, but search warrants say Rodney Brown withdrew a โsignificantโ amount of money from a Roanoke bank the day before he died. On Wednesday, 10 News confirmed additional search warrants related to the case are on file in Roanoke City Circuit Court, but as of Wednesday those warrants were sealed.

As 10 News reported Thursday, friends of Brown hired Roanoke attorney Deborah Caldwell-Bono to represent him. She said theyre worried about the 22-year-old and they want him to be alive when the situation is resolved. It seems like from what police are saying hes had opportunity but has not acted on anything, Caldwell-Bono said. She said its way too early to guess what a defense for Brown might be like in a murder trial.
