Roanoke Railyard Dawgs fans showed out Saturday for a parade celebrating the team's President's Cup win.

ROANOKE, Va.- - LAB Sports Performance, a training facility in southeast Roanoke, is expanding. "We train the Railyard Dawgs, travel organizations, high schools," said Robbie Hebert, owner and director of LAB Sports Performance. We have the training, we have the recreational sport and we have medical all in one roof," said Robbie Hebert, owner and director of Lab Sports Performance. The Carilion Sports Performance and Rehabilitation Clinic will occupy over 4,000 square feet of space inside LAB Sports Performance. Physical therapists with Carilion will use the new space for medical rehabilitation and beyond.

The Dawgs swept the best-of-three series, 2-0, and advanced to the semifinals of the President's Cup Playoffs. It caromed off a Peoria defenseman and into the net, giving the Dawgs a 1-0 lead. Guyon quickly fired a slap shot that beat Phaneuf to the net and it was 2-0 Dawgs. Stephen Klein entered in the Rivermen net with his team trailing, 3-0. Guyon forced another turnover and unleashed a snap shot that beat Klein low, giving the Dawgs a 4-0 advantage.

The Dawgs would start to chip away at the lead while working on a power play. He carried it in, deked to his backhand and tucked the puck past Patrick Spano to tie the game at three. Witzel scored again in the third to add the insurance marker. Fayetteville fired 26 shots on Barone and couldn’t solve the Dawgs netminder as Roanoke cruised to the 5-3 win.
