There was also another shooting in the 100 block of Madison Street that happened on the same day, and authorities said they believe the two are connected. Alejandro Garcia Limon, 25, of Radford, is wanted for a charge of assault by mob. Fabian Garcia, 30, of Radford, is wanted for a charge of assault by mob and assault and battery.

Police will receive 19 new e-ticket systems to limit face-to-face interaction during traffic stops. For about a year, the department had five e-ticket systems. But with an extra 19 systems, all 24 patrol officers will be equipped with the technology. Patrol officers will receive the new systems in about a week.

The Radford Police Department is asking for help finding the man they say attacked his estranged wife early Sunday morning. At 12:07 a.m., police responded to the 300 block of Fairfax Street after a woman called 911 to tell authorities she was attacked by 36-year-old Dennis Ray Blankenship Jr., of Bluefield, West Virginia. According to the Radford Police Department, officers responded to the 300 block of Tyler Avenue for a crash around 1:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they say they found a car had hit the restaurant and left the scene. Officers say they later located the driver, Rodrigo Dominguez, and the car in the 500 block of Fairfax Street. He is being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail on a secure bond.
