As fans of Popeye pay tribute today, the tale of his obsession with spinach is a life reminder that sometimes glaring mistakes can lead to incredible success stories.

The manhunt for a murderer is underway after the fatal stabbing of a man over a Popeye's chicken sandwich.

EAST RIDGE, Tenn. - Hungry chicken fans around the country left Popeye's restaurants empty-handed this week when the chain sold out of its new sandwiches. Craig Barr of East Ridge, Tennessee filed a summons accusing the restaurant of false advertising and deceptive business practices. Barr says he drove around to several locations only to be told at each of them that there was no chicken sandwich available. Barr claims he even responded to a Craigslist ad posted by someone who said they worked at Popeye's and was selling the sandwiches under the table for $24. That ad is no longer online, and police say they haven't had any reports on it.

Rapper Quavo, of the group Migos, is ready to save the day and make our chicken sandwich dreams come true. Popeye's first announced their new chicken sandwich on Twitter earlier this month, and Black Twitter was all over it, with the sandwich dominating discussions. The Popeye's sandwich is remarkably similar to Chick-fil-A's. It features a fried chicken fillet on a brioche bun, complemented by a few pickles and a slather of mayonnaise.

Those who took ecdysterone saw their performance improve by three times as much as those who did not. "We saw drastic increases in maximum performance in bench press in the group that took ecdysterone," co-author Maria Parr, a doping researcher at the university's Institute of Pharmacy, told CNN via telephone. The study was partly funded by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), and researchers recommend that ecydysterone be included on the agency's banned list. Co-author Francesco Botr, director of the Italian anti-doping agency (FMSI), told CNN that the team are now investigating ways to test for ecdysterone. The agency has recently been embroiled in controversy over the September 2018 reinstatement of the Russian anti-doping agency RUSADA.
