Tickets went on sale at noon Friday but people started lining up at the Buchanan Library early in the morning to guarantee some of the best seats in the house. Fans like Jennifer Myers got in line at 3 a.m. for tickets. "Matt came from a small town, just love the story how he made it big, it's just inspiring to people in a small town," said Jessica Myers, from Buchanan. Tickets will be on sale again Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Buchanan Library.

The VMI graduate joins the Virginia Tech Football program from Old Dominion, serving on the Monarchs squad for the past three seasons as passing coordinator. "We are excited to welcome Coach Burden and his family into the Hokie Nation," Coach Frank Beamer said in a release from the Virginia Tech Athletic department. "We appreciate the efforts of Coach Burden with our football program. Zohn helped start our program back in 2007 as one of the original staff members," says ODU Head Coach Bobby Wilder through the ODU Athletic department.
