A scary scene unfolded in Lynchburg on Wednesday after a man threatened to bomb a coffee shop on Cornerstone Street.

Mission House Coffee announced Wednesday that they’re opening of a third location, in addition to their Downtown Lynchburg and River Ridge Mall locations.

You pay it forward by purchasing a drink or meal, which is put on a gift card the baristas hold onto. Then, you write a note who it’s for and pin it to the board.

LYNCHBURG, Va. – A Lynchburg coffee shop is brewing a special program to promote local business and roast a well-known competitor. Mission House Coffee started a gift card swap that runs through January 31. If you go to either location with your Starbucks gift card, the coffee shop will exchange it for one of their own. The Starbucks gift card can be partially used and needs to be worth at least $5, but at most, $100. We just need the card number and pin number.
