A Lynchburg organization is helping local detainees register to vote and reminding them of the power their voices have, even while incarcerated.

The Lynchburg nonprofit group, Peacemakers, has shared new surveillance video they say is from the night 6-year-old Kingston Campbell was killed.

In the face of grief, the Lynchburg community is rallying together to fight gun violence.

The Lynchburg Peacemakers are stepping in to help reduce crime and help residents feel safe again after 6-year-old Kingston Campbell was shot and killed while playing video games on his bed.

On April 2nd at 4pm the Lynchburg Peacemakers will start their Community Patrol and introduce themselves to residents in the areas they will be patrolling. Due to the increase in Youth gun violence we feel that it is necessary to start our Community Patrols now before summer.
