No. 2 Michigan brings its smash-mouth ways into the College Football Playoff semifinal to face No. 3 TCU on Saturday.

Stetson Bennett threw three touchdown passes, Nakobe Dean led an angry Georgia defense and the third-ranked Bulldogs returned to their dominant ways, beating No. 2 Michigan 34-11 in the Orange Bowl to advance to the College Football Playoff championship.

Georgia’s defense was nearly invincible for three months, allowing less than a touchdown per game.

STEWARTSVILLE, Va. – A Bedford County firefighter found himself on the other side of a house fire this weekend. Joe Moore of the Stewartsville-Chamblissburg Volunteer Fire Department lost everything after his house on Lookout Ridge Road went up in flames Sunday morning. “To see it from start to finish was an out of body experience,” Moore said. Moore has been a volunteer firefighter for nine years, but had never experienced a fire while out of uniform before his house burned down.
