WSLS 10 launched its tenth Home for Good project along with Habitat for Humanity. The home on Bullet Avenue in south east Roanoke will be finished before the end of the year.

Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley partnered with MKB Realtors to put on a charity car show event that raised funds for Habitat-Roanoke.

Habitat for Humanity says this the 9th Home for Good house built.

Time has flown by for the members working on this year’s “Home for Good” project – there has been an incredible amount of progress made since the project kicked off at the beginning of June.

There were a lot of familiar faces at the WSLS "Home for Good" site in southeast Roanoke on Wednesday.

The family buying this year's Home for Good says owning a home will have a major impact on their lives.

This year's "Home for Good" is one part of a greater effort in Roanoke to invest in city neighborhoods and build up the community.
