This weekโs new entertainment releases include an album from Doja Cat, a reboot of Robert Rodriguezโs โSpy Kidsโ franchise with a film starring Gina Rodriguez and Zachary Levi and the critically-acclaimed โSex Education,โ one of Netflixโs most popular shows, returns for its fourth and final season.

Backstage after the show, Sudeikis told reporters he owns a multitude of hoodies but chose the one emblazoned with โForwardโ on the front and โListen + Leadโ on the back as fitting for the unusual night. โI wanted to feel festive and go for it,โ she told NBC. Sarah Paulson held her little black pooch on screen and Emma Corrin's fluffy white cat grabbed a moment for itself. AdLydia Marks, a New York set decorator, told The Associated Press the evening's technical challenges were many.
Netflix once again dominates Golden Globe TV nominations

The streaming giant scooped up 20 small-screen nods โ nearly three times as many as its closest competitor, HBO, and beating the 17 TV nominations it got last year. Streaming newcomer HBO Max scored two nominations with โThe Flight Attendant,โ a best comedy TV berth and also earned โThe Big Bang Theoryโ veteran Kaley Cuoco her first Globe nod. Little-known Pop TV earned five nominations โ all for the Canadian comedy โSchittโs Creek,โ which swept the comedy Emmy Awards last year. AdโThe Greatโ now faces โThe Flight Attendant,โ โSchittโs Creek,โ โEmily in Parisโ and โTed Lassoโ for bragging rights to best comedy TV series.
Netflix rejects calls to add disclaimer to The Crown
LONDON โ Netflix has โno plansโ to add a disclaimer to โThe Crownโ stating that its lavish drama about Britain's royal family is a work of fiction. In a statement Saturday, Netflix said it has always presented the drama, as just that โ a drama. โWe have always presented The Crown as a drama โ and we have every confidence our members understand itโs a work of fiction thatโs broadly based on historical events," it said. โThe Crownโ creator Peter Morgan, whose work also includes recent-history dramas โThe Queenโ and โFrost/Nixon,โ has defended his work, saying it is thoroughly researched and true in spirit. Charles Spencer, Dianaโs brother, was one who called on Netflix to add a disclaimer.
Fact or fiction? UK govt says 'The Crown' should be clear
LONDON โ Britainโs culture minister thinks the Netflix TV series โThe Crownโ should come with a disclaimer: Itโs a work of fiction. โItโs a beautifully produced work of fiction. So as with other TV productions, Netflix should be very clear at the beginning it is just that,โ Dowden told the Mail on Sunday newspaper. โMixing historical fact and fiction has been around since Shakespeare. โNobodyโs bothered if fact and fiction are all mangled up, so long as itโs saying nice things,โ he added.
Gillian Anderson will play Margaret Thatcher in 'The Crown' Season 4
Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images(CNN) - Gillian Anderson will play former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in season four of "The Crown," Netflix confirmed Saturday. "I am so excited to be joining the cast and crew of 'The Crown' and to have the opportunity to portray such a complicated and controversial woman," Anderson said in a tweet. Thatcher, who died in 2013, was Great Britain's first female prime minister and served from from 1979 to 1990. Netflix announced in April Emma Corrin also will join the Season 4 cast as Lady Diana Spencer, the eventual first wife of Prince Charles. The fourth season of "The Crown" is in production.
