The Mavericks lost at Chicago in the first game of their other back-to-back before winning at Houston.

They tested positive after the team returned home. They, along with all other NBA teams, began having players back in their facility for individual workouts last week. The team did not say if the positive tests involved players, staff or some combination of the two. The guard and forward says he tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Nov. 28 and is isolating in a Chicago hotel.

The victory gave the Raptors a 2-0 lead in the first round plyoff series. Kyle Lowry had 21 points, nine rebounds and forced a big turnover in the closing seconds for the second seeded Raptors.
