Authorities in the Belgian capital shot and killed a Tunisian national hours after they say he gunned down three Swedish soccer fans, killing two of them.

Belgium’s justice minister remains under police protection after four people suspected of taking part in an alleged plot to kidnap him were arrested in the Netherlands over the weekend.

Authorities also seized weapons, about 40 vehicles, 1.3 million euros in cash, 700,000 euros ($822,000) on various bank accounts as well as stocks worth 62,000 euros ($72,850). “The quantity we seized can seem gigantic, but it's infinitely small compared to what really goes through," Van Leeuw said. “It's not only cocaine that is imported," Van Leeuw said.
