Foster Fuels has more than 200 employees and trucks on the roads, working overtime to serve 20,000 customers in Virginia. Weโre told many employees are trying to survive themselves while getting the job done. Itโs a lot, but thatโs what weโre here for,โ said Chelsea Harrison, vice president of marketing for Foster Fuels. Crews are also helping Texas and Northern Virginia.

FEMA called on Foster Fuels, who answered the call. The company sent their drivers and about 40 trucks filled with fuel ready to serve. From clear diesel fuel to gasoline, and it can be used to power anything to generators to automobiles. Foster Fuels said its not sure how long its crews will be in Texas, but theyre prepared to stay as long as needed.

Starting Tuesday until early October, Foster Fuels will be collecting winter coats at their showrooms throughout Central Virginia. The company is looking for gently used coats to give to area elementary schools chosen by the company's showrooms throughout the region. Each showroom is working with a local elementary school in the area.
