America's largest donut chain opened a new location in Christiansburg Wednesday.

Dunkin’ has announced that the grand opening of their newest locally-owned franchise will be in Christiansburg.

In celebration of National Coffee Day, Dunkin rewards members can enjoy a free medium hot or iced coffee with a purchase on Friday, Sept. 29.

Officials said Dunkin’ has signed a lease and plans to open a location at the newly constructed building in front of Orchard Marketplace Shopping Center.

It may be hot and humid in Virginia, but Dunkin’ is ready for scarves, leaves piles and, of course, pumpkin spice lattes.

Dunkin' is playing with fire this Halloween season with its new Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut. Back in February, Dunkin' released a donut filled with hot sauce as a one-day promotion at a few Miami locations.

Dunkin has announced that it will be closing around 800 of its stores across the country. According to the companys second-quarter earnings report, low-earning stores will be affected. The 800 stores reportedly account for 8% of the companys US locations. Dunkin is looking at closing an additional 350 international locations. The report did not say where the stores expected to close are located.
