A 65-year-old man has died after a tree fell and hit his pick-up truck while he was on his way home, according to the Dickenson County Sheriff’s Office.

On Tuesday, the Virginia State Police said that their Bureau of Criminal Investigation’s Wytheville Field Office is searching for the people that destroyed bank ATMs in Dickenson and Buchanan counties.

ROANOKE, Va. – After more than three months, only one Virginia locality has yet to report a case of the coronavirus. While 132 of 133 Virginia cities and counties have reported at least one case of COVID-19, the number for Bath County remains at 0. Only about 4,400 people live in Bath County, making it Virginia’s second-least populated city or county. On Friday, Bland County reported its first case, while on Tuesday, Dickenson County reported its first case. ROANOKE, Va. – Appalachian Power is reporting that thousands of customers are without power. Earlier today that number exceeded 3,800. As of 1:13 p.m., Buchanan County has the most outages with 439. Following Buchanan, is Roanoke City, Henry County and Dickenson County with 189, 142 and 87 outages, respectively.
