An estimated 6.7 million people saw Biden at an NBC News-sponsored town hall last week. Trump's ABC town hall with Stephanopoulos on Sept. 15 was seen by 3.8 million people, Nielsen said.

Biden's campaign then suggested the event be delayed a week until Oct. 22, which is when the third and final debate was already scheduled. Next, Trump countered again, agreeing to a debate on Oct. 22 — but only if face to face — and asking that a third contest be added on Oct. 29, just before the election. The Oct. 22 debate in Nashville, Tennessee, is scheduled to feature a format similar to the first. Biden’s campaign has suggested that it be modified to the “town meeting” format, though the Trump campaign has not weighed in. As he campaigned in Arizona, Biden said he would indeed attend the Oct. 22 debate.

But to retrace some of his steps over the last week is to see risk at multiple turns and an abundance of opportunity for infection. WASHINGTON The University of Notre Dame has become the second university to withdraw as the host of one of this fall's three scheduled presidential debates amid the coronavirus pandemic. The university was set to host the inaugural face-off between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden on Sept. 29. The first debate will now be hosted by Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, the nonpartisan Commission on Presidential Debates announced Monday. The commission has selected Cleveland Clinic as its health adviser for all three presidential debates and the one scheduled vice presidential debate. John Jenkins said the university made this difficult decision because the necessary health precautions would have greatly diminished the educational value of hosting the debate on our campus.The University of Michigan was scheduled to host the second presidential debate but withdrew last month.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Doctors at the Cleveland Clinic have performed the world's first kidney transplant using a single-port robot, according to a release from the Cleveland Clinic. The single-port kidney transplant enables all surgical instruments and the donor kidney to be placed through one small abdominal incision. Dr. Jihad Kaouk and his team were the first hospital in the country to successfully perform a robotic single-port prostatectomy and kidney cancer surgery in September 2018. This robotic single-port technique could be an alternative for patients dealing with obesity or challenging anatomy, doctors say.

It was the first time the Cleveland Clinic did the surgery laparoscopically making a few tiny incisions in the abdomen to remove a piece of the liver. CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland Clinic just completed a unique liver transplant surgery, and they're hoping it encourages more people to step forward to help save lives. The surgery was done by Dr. Choon Hyuck David Kwon, who said only about 5 % of liver donations come from living donors. Dr. Kwon, the director of Laparoscopic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, said he hopes the minimally invasive surgery encourages more donors to consider making a liver donation. The surgery was done in August, with Nikko Velazquez donating a piece his liver to his girlfriend's father, Abraham Aviv.

The woman who donated the uterus might be long gone, but a baby girl born from the donated organ is alive and well. For the first time in U.S. history, a mother who received a womb transplant from a dead donor gave birth to a healthy baby. The Cleveland Clinic said their trial specifically uses the organ of a deceased donor, to eliminate risk to any healthy living donor. She gave birth via cesarean section in June after a successful pregnancy. We are grateful to the donor and her family, their generosity allowed our patients dream to come true and a new baby to be born, Tzakis said.
