Nursing homes have been required since last May to regularly report cases and deaths among residents and staff to the government. Nursing homes are again allowing loved ones to visit, and hugs are included. The main nursing home industry trade group, the American Health Care Association, says it supports disclosure of vaccination data. Wyden and Crapo said current government policy that encourages nursing homes to voluntarily report vaccination data to the government has only led to โlimited participation by the industry.โThe government should require nursing homes to break down vaccination data by race and ethnicity, given disparities in vaccine acceptance.

Teen suspected of planning murderThe prosecutorโs office stated the teen allegedly planned the crime, although no additional details were provided. On Feb. 21 the teen allegedly killed her grandmother by stabbing her multiple times with a kitchen knife.

The survey also finds that some Americans are feeling a bit sadder, lonelier and less grateful than last year. About 4 in 10 Americans are still intensely worried about the novel coronavirus, and roughly three-quarters are at least somewhat concerned that they or a relative will be infected.

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office says the man had a Georgia Lottery scratch game card worth $100 when he ran away during a traffic stop on Interstate 75 on Monday. In a Facebook post, it offered its congratulations and invited him to claim the ticket at its office in Canton about 40 miles (64 kilometers) north of Atlanta. The lottery ticket was in a backpack that also had methamphetamine, according to Baker. The man can have the lottery ticket back, but the sheriffโs office said it will keep the drugs.
