Alan Stuart Graf, president of the guild’s Southwest Virginia chapter, said when it comes to who receives the COVID-19 vaccine, inmates should also be a priority. The group believes inmates should not get the vaccine before frontline workers, but they shouldn’t be forgotten. We agree that supporting our frontline workers and first responders is critical however we must also consider those who are particularly vulnerable in congregate housing. 10 News reached out to Secretary Moran for further comment, but had not heard back when this article was published.

Not only were both games seven innings apiece, but the Orioles were the home team in the opener and the Marlins served as hosts in the nightcap. The Marlins' revamped pitching staff includes right-hander Mike Morin and left-hander Brian Moran, and right-hander Josh A. Smith and left-hander Josh D. Smith, all recently acquired veterans. Replacements included seven newly acquired players, and 11 players from the team's alternate training site. The virus infected 21 members of the Marlins' traveling party and forced the suspension of their season July 26 after just three games. We expect to win games, Hill said.
