Pets in shelters are looking to find new homes this summer and now, new pet owners won’t have to pay adoption fees thanks to Bissell Pet Foundation’s “Empty the Shelters” event.

The Pittsylvania Pet Center received a $10,000 grant to help with the emergency support of 68 dogs that were seized from a hoarding situation last week.
