The use of deadly force in an officer-involved shooting that occurred in September of 2023 has been deemed justifiable, according to the Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Lynchburg, Bethany Harrison.

Court documents show Ashley Gibbs Neeley received a furlough order to leave Amherst County Adult Detention Center and complete a program at Southstone Recovery Center.
