So countless AKA members celebrated the historic moment in their living rooms, on Twitter and on Zoom calls. Alpha Kappa Alpha declared on Twitter that Jan. 20 would be Soror Kamala D. Harris Day, and encouraged members to share photos of their celebrations with the hashtag #KamalaHarrisDay. โI knew then that I was going to see Kamala Harris make history,โ she said.
