One person was seriously injured and another was hurt after a vehicle crash in Southeast Roanoke Tuesday afternoon.

A driver was charged after hitting a pedestrian in Lynchburg this morning.

A school bus transporting high school students in Salem was involved in a traffic accident after school on Wednesday.

The crash remains under investigation

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. – A tractor-trailer accident near mile marker 124 on I-81 north in Montgomery County causes major backups Sunday evening. According to VDOT, the right lane is back open. The left is currently closed. Backups are about 6 miles. Traffic is being detoured off at exit 118C and onto U.S. 460 to relieve congestion.
