A grant is going towards improving emergency services in the Star City.

This Saturday, June 3, is the Compress and Shock Foundations’ annual free CPR and AED Educational Day.

The Compress and Shock Foundation is pushing new legislation that would encourage Virginia's to purchase an AED to keep in their car. The hope is to save more lives.
