Watch Delaney on weekdays at 12 and 5:30 p.m. and on weekend evenings at 6 and 11 p.m.
Delaney graduated from Virginia Tech in 2023 with a B.S. in Meteorology and joined the WSLS 10 Weather Authority in August 2024.
She comes to Roanoke from her hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia, where she worked as the morning meteorologist at WCAV-TV.
Her love of the weather goes back to a very young age. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, her family tells her she would run to the television as young as three years old to watch meteorologist James Spann give the weather report.
During her time at Virginia Tech, Delaney was a weathercaster at the university’s radio station and a founding member of the Virginia Tech Forecasting Club.
In her free time, she enjoys watching Alabama and Virginia Tech football, baking sourdough and spending time with family. She became an avid coffee drinker during her time as the morning meteorologist and is always on the hunt for the perfect cupcake!
