ROANOKE, Va. – The Virginia Tech women left no doubt Thursday night in a road victory over Pittsburgh, 84-57. In a game where nine players scored, the Hokies shot 42 percent from the field.
There wasn’t a shot that the Hokies didn’t like, making 13 three pointers. Virginia Tech’s starting five all scored in double-figures, including Rose Micheaux who recorded another double-double, 14 points and 15 rebounds.

Matilda Ekh eclipsed 250 made three pointers for her career thus far. The team also tied a program-record low of just six turnovers.
The Hokies moved to 14-5 overall, 5-3 in conference play. Virginia Tech will continue it’s road trip to No. 20 North Carolina State on Sunday for a 6 p.m. tip-off from Raleigh.
