Boys Hoops: Patriots top cross-town rival Colonels 60-45

ROANOKE, Va. – In their second match-up of the season, cross-town rivals Patrick Henry and William Fleming squared off--this time at the home of the Colonels.

It was clear from the opening tip-off that the Patriots had revenge on their minds from that first meeting a little more than a month ago.

PH turned defense into offense throughout the night, beating Fleming in transition multiple times. Leron Lipford helped set the tone with 13 first half points with Tay Stanley and William Fowler both following suit.

The Colonels had solid contributions from Kahmarie Steelman and Demaris Harper but to no avail. Patrick Henry with the road win Thursday night, 60-45.
