ROANOKE, Va. – Rustburg High School has hired Trey Ross as the next head coach of the football program.
Ross will head to Rustburg after spending time as an assistant and most recently offensive coordinator at West Brunswick High School in Shallote, North Carolina.

“My family and I are very excited to join the Rustburg community,” Ross said in a statement provided by Rustburg High School. “I look forward to deepening the tradition of Rustburg High School’s football program and building young men to be champions in the classroom, community and on the field.”
Ross will begin his duties in March. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the game after spending his college days at Appalachian State University. He was a part of two Sun Belt Conference championships, two New Orleans Bowl championships and a Myrtle Beach Bowl championship.
