ROANOKE, Va. – The VHSL announced its Class 5 Football All-State Team on Thursday with three familiar names making the list.
William Fleming senior running back Malachi Coleman was named to the First-Team offense after a season that included more than 2,295 yards rushing and over 29 touchdowns.

Named to the Second-Team offense was Patrick Henry tight end Carson Derey. He’s been a solid blocker as well as a sure-handed tight end that’s become a pivotal part of the the Patriots success.
For his all-purpose defensive efforts, William Fleming linebacker Qasim Jackson was named to the Second-Team defense. The senior played a pivotal role in the Colonels success of making back-to-back Region 5C Final appearances.
