GLENVAR, Va. – The 2023 Trophy Tour made a recent stop at Glenvar High School to honor our week 4 honoree, Brody Dawyot.
The sophomore quarterback accounted for five touchdowns in a week four victory over Hidden Valley. The win at the time moved the Highlanders to 4-0 on the season.
“Well I couldn’t have done it without all the players, fans traveling and without them it wouldn’t be possible,” Dawyot said during his recent trophy presentation.
Dawyot went on to finish the season with over 2,000 yards passing and 21 touchdowns. On the ground, he tallied 439 rushing yards and 8 more touchdowns.
“I’m just looking to grow better as an athlete and leader and just want younger kids to look up to me,” said Dawyot who’s currently in the midst of having a great season on the basketball court for the Highlanders.
