LYNCHBURG, Va. – William Byrd has reached the state semifinals for the first time in program history, but waiting for them is the “freight train” team, LCA, coming in with a 12-0 record.
It’s 7-0 LCA to start.
LCA was firmly in command, 35-0. The Terriers soon got on the board at 35-6.
But Israel Hairston and company couldn’t match LCA, this one goes 49-6 to the Bulldogs.
LCA is headed to the state championship, where they will take on Lafayette on Saturday at Liberty University.
